Jeroen Bakker jbakker changed the task. I use cycles so I unwrap object then switch to texture paint and choose diffuse color and click on OK then object become black as that color was choosen to start with but when I change color in palette it wont let me paint just nothing happens but if I. I hope you can help me. Texture Paint not working. Brush strokes are sometimes not showing up working even when supposed to be working especially when painting close up to the mesh. I can however paint the texture in the UV window but it just isnt. If the third image is your UV layout then it looks a mess this is probably the cause of all your problems.
